The $40,000 Brooke USA 4*S Division represents the most competitive prize money offering for this level in the country and is made possible by a donation in honor of Brooke USA and the millions of horses, donkeys and mules who tirelessly work to improve the lives of people everywhere. Plantation Field Interna- tional Horse Trials and Country Fair takes place annually on the third weekend of September in Unionville, PA. Offering a total of $55,000 in prize money across four divisions, the event offers exciting equestrian com- petition in a picturesque setting. The hillside Country Fair offers entertainment for the whole family, including vendors, food trucks, kids’ activities and a beer garden. General admission is $25 for a vehicle with up to five passengers, Saturday and Sunday tailgate spaces are available for $250, and Ringside Sunday Brunch tickets are $100. Since 2011, the Fair Hill Thoroughbred Show has assisted Thoroughbred owners and their horses to achieve success in their new careers. The tradition contin- ues this year on September 14 and 15 at the Fair Hill Showgrounds in Elkton, MD. Hunter classes will take place Saturday and jumper classes are held on Sunday. FHTS continues its part- nership with the Real Rider Cup raising funds to support Thoroughbred aftercare.
