Page 10 September 2022 EAST COAST EQUESTRIAN September 27 - October 2 Vendors Dressage at Devon 2022 © 2012 Hoof Print Images For more than 40 years, Dressage at Devon (DAD) has brought top competitors, horses, trainers and judges from across the continent and around the globe together for one of the highest-rated international dressage competitions. BREED DIVISION (September 27-29) The Dressage at Devon Breed Division is both a USDF Breeders Championship Series Qualifier and East Coast Final. As the largest dressage open breed show in the world, three days of competition features foals, young horses, and mature breeding stock from all breeds com- peting for a championship spot in the USDF BCS East Coast Final. Additionally, one day is dedicated to featuring Individual Breed Classes where horses of the same breed compete against each other. The Parade of Breeds will take place at the conclusion of Tuesday’s classes, when winners of each class will be invited back into the Dixon Oval to receive a special rosette. PERFORMANCE DIVISION (September 30-October 2) The Dressage at Devon Performance Division offers both CDI and national level classes. The CDI classes feature World Cup qualifiers culminating in the Grand Prix Musical Freestyle on Saturday night, featuring top international horse-and-athlete combinations looking to accumulate valuable qualifying points towards the FEI Dressage World Cup Finals 2023 to be held in Omaha, Nebraska. Other offerings include qualifier classes for Children, Ponies, Juniors, Young Riders, and U-25. Additionally, CDI 1*/3* and Adult Amateur competitions are offered. National level classes include Fourth Level, Young Horses, and FEI Test of Choice classes.
