Page 26 September 2020 EAST COAST EQUESTRIAN Enjoy the historic, peace- ful woods, the farms and the stunning scenery of Montgomery County, PA in Horseways Annual Paper Chase! Join us Sunday, October 18. First teams depart at 9 a.m. Teams will start from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. Horseways staff will be on site beginning at 8 a.m. The start and finish are at the beautiful Manderley Farm, 240 Blue Bell Penllyn Pike in Blue Bell. Teams will ride an eight- mile route through Armentrout and Briar Hill Preserves, Camp Woods (George Washington slept there!), and Prophecy Creek Park. Registration information and pdf files for forms are at www.horsewayspa.org, and on Facebook. There will be no registrations accepted the day of the event. All forms and pay- ment must be completed prior Leaf Your Worries Behind at Horseways Paper Chase to the event. Due to Covid-19 precautions, there will be no blank registration forms avail- able on the day of the event, but there will be a registration table to accept completed forms and payment. Horseways members pay $35, non-members pay $40 per rider. In a year full of bad news, we’re aiming to start a new season with nothing but positive vibes, so Leaf Your Worries Be- hind, and join us for this special event. Costumes welcome! But follow our theme and leaf all your worries behind. Prizes for best time, fastest time and best turn out. Costume or not, masks are required whenever riders are near other groups and unmount- ed. Horses, being the amazing creatures they are, will not be required to mask up. Rain date: Sunday, October 25.
