Page 4 October 2022 EAST COAST EQUESTRIAN Maryland Fresh Food Fest The Maryland Department of Agriculture, Cecil County Agriculture and the MARS Maryland 5 Star at Fair Hill presented by Brown Advisory are thrilled to present the Maryland Fresh Food Fest on Sunday, October 16 from 9:00 am-4:00 pm. The Maryland Fresh Food Fest will feature seasonal fruits and vegetables, dairy products, meats and seafood, and much more. Enjoy a beautiful fall morning procuring and sampling fresh products from the finest Maryland farmers, growers and makers! Admission to the area is free with purchase of any valid Sunday ticket. Watch the cutest show on turf. These fuzzy butts will drive you nuts as their stumpy legs sprint across the historic Fair Hill Steeplechase Turf Track in front of the Grandstands. The Cup will take place on the steeplechase course between the grandstand and main arena and in between the walkways. Tenta- tive timing: preliminary heats will be before CCI3* show jumping and the champion- ship heats will be during a drag break during the CCI5* competition. Media Sponsor (and corgi lovers) Major League Eventing is operating the MD Corgi Cup, visit their website ( majorleagueeventing.com ) for details on how to enter. Timing will be updated. Horseland Horseland hosted by the Maryland Horse Industry Board will return during all 4 days of competition, open tentatively 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Admission is free with a valid ticket. Vendors will be announced on a rolling basis. Main Arena On Friday, fan favorite Elisa Wallace will return for a mustang demonstration, at the lunch break between CCI3* and CCI5* Dressage.
