Sunday, May 28 | Carriage Pleasure Drive; $50,000 Arena Eventing The Carriage Pleasure drive welcomes guests to cheer on carriage drivers as they travel through the streets of Devon culminat- ing in the Dixon Oval. Later in the day, the $50,000 Arena Eventing showcases riders competing over an enclosed 30-jump show jumping course spanning both rings. Tuesday, May 30 | $38,700 Jet Run Devon Welcome Stake In the evening, the $38,700 Jet Run Welcome Stake presents the first of the weeks’ 5 international show jumping events. Watch competitors compete over a 1.45m course. Wednesday, May 31 | $38,700 Main Line Challenge Speed Stake The evening events bring the $38,700 Devon International Speed Stake to the Dixon Oval, where international show jumpers compete on a highly competitive course. Thursday, June 1 | $25,000 International USHJA Hunter Derby and $226,000 Sapphire Grand Prix of Devon Watch as horses and riders gain experience in Derby competition in the $25,000 International USHJA Hunter Derby. Nighttime brings the pinnacle of international show jumping. The Grand Prix is not to be missed as the sport’s best athletes and horses compete over a Grand Prix course of 1.45m to 1.60m fences at 8 pm. Friday, June 2 | $38,700 Devon Speed Derby The evening’s highlight is the fast and furious Devon Speed Derby. Saturday, June 3 | $145,100 Idle Dice Open Jumper Stake The final evening of the FEI International classes, this highly exciting event is all about speed and a clear round spanning between the Dixon Oval and Wheeler Ring. Sunday, June 4 | Breeders Day The final day of the show, do not miss the handlers with the babies and young horses as they show off and vie for the presenta- tion of the coveted Best Young Horse and Leading Handler awards in the historic Dixon Oval. DJ Brian Bohn Tuesday May 30 .… Marianne Styles (6:30-9:30 pm) Exhibitions Radnor Fox Hounds - Saturday Evening, May 27 Foxhunting is the traditional sport of mounted riders chasing wild quarry with a pack of hounds. Founded in 1883, Radnor Hunt is the oldest continuously active foxhunt in the United States. During this exhibition, members of the hunt will demonstrate some of the skills they use in the hunt field, including navigating a horse through a pack of hounds, dealing with trappy terrain, and riding as a group. Kindle Hill Foundation Natural Horsemanship – Saturday Morning, May 27 Join Kindle Hill Foundation’s founder, Saly Glassman, acclaimed Natural Horseman Don Jessop, and local equine partner, Emma Holliday, for a unique exhibition in the Dixon Oval on Saturday, May 27th. Whether you're a rider, trainer or someone who just enjoys horses, this is a great opportunity to learn more about the remarkable equine-human connection. Saly, Don, and Emma will share their wisdom and experience, and of course, their special equine partners! WIHS Shetland Pony Steeplechase - Sunday Afternoon, May 29 and Memorial Day Afternoon, May 30 Cheer on your favorites as the Shetland Pony Steeplechase, presented by Charles Owen, comes to Devon! A popu- lar tradition in Europe, young jockeys wearing bright silks will gallop their Shetland ponies over jumps. Don’t miss it! Special Appearances The Orpheus Club Founded in 1872, the Orpheus Club of Philadelphia is the oldest men’s singing group in America. For a century and a half, the Club has been a prominent fixture in the social and cultural life of the city of Philadelphia. Some of the 80 sing- ing members are in their 20s, while others continue to be active members into their 80s and beyond.
