He’s sweet, he’s taught many people how to ride through his years,” Adrienne said. A shining star outside the show ring, he and Adrienne carried the American Flag in ceremonies at Dressage at Devon three years in a row, in the Honor Flight Philadelphia Parade to honor veterans, and during closing night ceremonies in Oklahoma at the Arabian Championship. “He is a horse I trained in ranch riding myself, and he did amazing. I had messaged the committee for the Arbian Horse Association and asked if they had someone to carry the flag at closing ceremonies,” Adrienne said. King has been a model for Adrienne’s photography, posing for equestrian related ads like Ovation Riding, OneK helmets, and Pessoa saddles as well as for a music video. When Adrienne decided to apply to have King named an Arabian Ambassador, he needed three letters of recommendation – he had eight. “I feel like King is the epitome of the American dream - never giving up,” she said. “He is a very kind and gentle soul. He’s an amazing horse. “He trusts me, and we have a really good bond. When they say your ‘heart horse’ you know that horse would have your back and vice versa,” Adrienne said. “He’s super and you can trust him.” (Continued from page 62) Like what you see?
