Brittany Vallot All About Horses for Kids (Sat., 1 pm, Seminar Hall A) Brittney has been DEFHR Assistant Farm Manager, Farm Manager and Equine Health Director. She left DEFHR in 2018 to pilot the Maryland Equine Transition Service (METS) under the Maryland Horse Council Foundation, helping to facilitate the responsible transition of horses to new owners. In 2020, Brittney rejoined DEFHR’s as Operations Director, overseeing daily oper- ations, construction, capital im- provement projects, and assisting in resources optimization. She also oversees DEFHR’s volunteer and educational programs, including summer Legacy Camp. In 2022, IDEFHR absorbed the METS pro- gram and, naturally, Brittney once again oversaw its operations. He has ap- peared at a movie premier in the hustle and bustle of Times Square and in high-end shopping center commercials in Washington DC.
