Brian Egan, MS The Basics of Horse Behavior (Sat. 5 pm, Seminar Hall B) Brian Egan is an Instructor of Equine Science at Penn State University in the Department of Dairy and Animal Science and is coordinator of the Penn State Horse Barn. He teaches Horse Production and Management, Horse Handling and Training, teaching students proper tech- niques to start two-year-olds under saddle with an emphasis on ground manners, Equine Market- ing, including planning and co- ordinating the annual Penn State Quarter Horse Sale, and Horse Selection and Judging. Gail Eichelberger What the PA Equine Council Does for You (Fri., 6 pm Seminar Hall B) Gail is the President of the Pennsylvania Equine Council since 2019. She is a lifelong horse enthusiast who resides in Berks County, PA with her husband Richard. Gail and her husband enjoy horse camping and trail riding. They logged six hundred miles of riding in 2021 and hope to match or exceed that goal in 2022. Gail will share with attendees the benefits of being a member of the Pennsylvania Equine Council.
