Cindy Goril Finding the Storyline in Horse Experiences (Fri., 5 pm, Seminar Hall B) Cindy founded Star Equestri- ans, a therapeutic riding program, in 1998 and is responsible for teaching children and adults with challenges, adaptive riding and horsemanship skills, grant writing, fundraising, and more. A graduate of Mount Aloysius College she is a certified occupa- tional therapy assistant, certified therapeutic riding instructor and author of three children’s books. Mikayla Hagerty & Montanna McCloskey Let’s Talk Horses (Sat., 6 pm, Seminar Hall B) Mikayla is the reigning 2019 Pennsylvania Miss Agriculture USA. A college senior, she served on the Pennsylvania Farm Show Junior Committee where she shared her voice for the youth exhibitors at the Farm Show and helped educate the non-ag public on important topics. Montanna, is the 2020 Cam- bria County Miss Agriculture USA. A college freshman pursuing a degree in Psychology. Montanna’s “Let’s Talk Horses” presentation grew from “…an increased amount of myths and mis-understandings about horse ownership caused by social media.” Visit Mikayla Hagerty & Montanna McCloskey at the Penn State University booth 215, 216. He is a graduate of John Lyons very first certification program and has continued his education training under top trainers in the disci- plines of dressage, hunter/jumper, eventing, and reining. He has been featured on national television shows including Hard Copy , and NBC Weekend Today Show . Many newspapers and horse publications such as Horse World magazine, Equine Journal , and Chronicle of the Horse have featured articles on Kenny’s Training methods. He proves that clear communication and patience is the key to solving the most difficult of problems. Kenny resides in Cumberland VA. Where he is the first Equine Training School recognized by the state of Virginia. Kenny continues to teach a yearlong Equine Training Program, Intro to Horse Training Program, Horse and Rider Training Vacations, as well as traveling the East Coast teaching 2 or 3 day Riding Clinics.
